In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the spark plug on this 2000 Nissan Altima and we show you one of them but it's the same for procedure for all four. The items you'll need for this is new spark plugs from 1AAuto.com, 5/8 inch spark plug socket and ratchet with an extension and a gap tool.
Right here are your four spark plug wires and under each one is a spark plug. Just pull up on the spark plug wire and then using a 5/8 inch spark plug socket on an extension just start removing that spark plug. If you have a spark plug socket, the spark plug will come out with the socket. If not, you can use a stick magnet to pull the spark plug out. Make sure the gap between the inner diode and the outer diode is correct. It should be .040 and adjust as necessary. Put into your spark plug socket and feed it down into the engine and tighten it. Once it's tightened, you can put your spark plug wire back into place. Repeat for the other three and you're all set.
