How to repair, install, fix, change or replace the broken, damaged, cracked, faded, cloudy, or chipped turn signal lights on 2007 Honda Pilot.
Painter's Tape
Trim Tool Set
To change this side marker bulb, or this whole side marker assembly, we're going to take some masking tape and place it under here to protect the paint. Use a plastic prying tool, or you can buy these from 1AAuto.com. I slide it underneath the light.
I'm just going to take my fingers and pull it out just a little bit. Use the plastic prying tool to help me lift it up. Might use this end and feel a little bit better. It's going to go backwards a bit. Pull it out. You can change this whole assembly if it's broken.
If you just need to change the bulb, you can unplug it by pushing this lock in on the connector, turning the socket, pulling the bulb out, and putting the new bulb in. This one's okay, so we're going to leave it. It's going to fit into these locks.
There's one wider one, a couple smaller ones, there's a wider opening there, and match it up, turn it clockwise, and lock in there. Reconnect the electrical connection. You can take the tape off now.
It's got a thicker tab on the front part. It's thinner in the back. So I'm going to start by sliding it into the front, push it in the fender to lock it.
