How to Replace Side Mirror 2005-14 Ford Mustang

So, to get started on the mirror, we're gonna come right up along here. I'm gonna use this plastic trim tool. It should just wanna pop right out. We don't need to go too far with it, just far enough. If you reach under here, there's a little tab. You squeeze on that, and you should be able to draw this one out. Let's see if I can get it with this tool. You can use an 11-millimeter ratchet wrench. Start removing all these nuts. Obviously, you wanna be very careful not to drop this into the door panel. That will be a little bit of a hassle. Grab that mirror, give it a little wiggle. There it is. Awesome. Let's get the mirror on here. Everything should line up. Once it does, just press it through. One of your nuts on here. Gonna start on all of them now. So, now we're just gonna snug these up. Got one more there. All right. You wanna make sure all these are nice and snug. Last thing you want is to be driving down the road and your mirror is wobbling around. Grab your electrical connector, slide it in there. Feels great. Gonna have this. You get your little prongs. Those are gonna line with the holes. Everything nice and lined up. Press it in. Perfect. Let's test it. Awesome. The procedure for the passenger's side mirror will be the same as the driver's.
