Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video we show you how to replace or service the side marker on this 2004 Volvo XC90. We show you both if you just need to replace the little bulb inside that light, or if you need to replace the entire light if it's been broken or something like that. The only tool you'll need is a small flat blade screwdriver.
On this little side marker here, actually right in the middle there, is a little indent. You put a screwdriver up in there. This one actually comes out very easily, and I can see why it's already been broken off. It's generally right in underneath the bulb, you'll feel it right there, and you pry it out, and then this comes out.
If you're just looking to change the bulb, you twist counterclockwise. You need this orange bulb, it just pulls out of the socket. That goes back in. Put the light back on. To disconnect the harness, there's just a little thumb tab over here, and that comes out.
Here's a new light from 1A Auto. Obviously if yours has been broken, this will fix your problem. Just reconnects right in and snaps right into place.
