Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the seat switch on this 2002 Chevy Suburban. On this particular vehicle, it's the twelve-way seat switch, but the regular seat switches use a similar procedure. The tools you'll need for this are a 7mm socket and ratchet, a Phillips screwdriver, and a flat blade screwdriver.
Start off by removing these four Phillips screws. We'll just fast forward as Don does that. Now just pull straight out on this panel. Then you want to just pry down on this tab and pull the harness free. For this harness, you want to just push down on the tab and disconnect it. Now remove these three 7mm bolts. Now the switch will just pull right out.
Take your new switch and push it into place, and then replace those three 7mm bolts. Reconnect the two harnesses. Now push the seat switches back into place, and then replace those four Phillips screws.
