How to Replace Reverse Light Assembly 1997-2006 BMW 325Xi

step 1 :Removing the Tail Light Assembly
- Raise the trunk lid
- Remove the plastic fasteners to release the trunk lid lining
- Open the road hazard kit lid for more clearance
- Press the locking tab to remove the light socket enclosure
- Remove the 10 mm nut securing the tail light assembly
- Push the tail light assembly out to remove it

step 2 :Installing the Tail Light Assembly
- Reinstall the reverse light assembly into position
- Reinstall the mounting bracket and 10 mm nut
- Reinstall the light bulb socket enclosure
- Replace the trunk lining
- Close the road hazard kit lid
- Reinstall the push pin retainers
- Close the trunk lid
