How to Replace Reverse Light Assembly 1997-2006 BMW 325Xi

  1. step 1 :Removing the Tail Light Assembly
    • Raise the trunk lid
    • Remove the plastic fasteners to release the trunk lid lining
    • Open the road hazard kit lid for more clearance
    • Press the locking tab to remove the light socket enclosure
    • Remove the 10 mm nut securing the tail light assembly
    • Push the tail light assembly out to remove it
  2. step 2 :Installing the Tail Light Assembly
    • Reinstall the reverse light assembly into position
    • Reinstall the mounting bracket and 10 mm nut
    • Reinstall the light bulb socket enclosure
    • Replace the trunk lining
    • Close the road hazard kit lid
    • Reinstall the push pin retainers
    • Close the trunk lid
