How to Replace Rear Wiper Blade 2013-18 Subaru Forester

How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a damaged, bent, or failing rear windshield wiper blade on 13-18 Subaru Forester.

  1. step 1 :Removing the Rear Wiper Blade
    • Lift the rear wiper arm from the window
    • Turn the wiper blade horizontally
    • Pull the blade off of the arm
  2. step 2 :Installing the Rear Wiper Blade
    • Lower the blade onto the wiper arm, inserting the pin into the hook on the arm
    • Push the blade vertically
    • Lower the wiper arm to the windshield

To replace the rear wiper blade, we lift it off the window. This one's actually in good shape, so we'll re-use it, but if you want to replace it, you just replace the whole blade. Just take it and pull it right out. It will slide right out of the hook and off these little pins.

Then to re-install it, kind of get it in here, line up the little in there, and then just push it over those pins, and lay it back down on the windshield on the rear window.
