What's up guys? I'm Andy from 1AAuto. In this video I'm going to show you how to replace the rear wiper arm on this 2010 Toyota RAV4 if you need parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1aauto.com. All right, take this cover off. Just grab underneath right there and then just rotate it, then you can access the nut right there. Then I'll take a 10 millimeter socket and a ratchet. Take this nut off. Just hold the arm while you're loosening it up. All right, take that off.
Before you actually take the arm off what you can do is just use a marker that will work on glass or even a crayon and mark the location so that when you go to put it back on, you can get it back where it was. Now, I just grab the arm and just try to pry it up a little bit underneath here. I'm going to have to rock this back and forth a little. Sometimes these get rusted on there pretty good. There we go. I was able to work it off--slide it off. To take the blade off, you actually have to take the arm off because you have to rotate this that far.
You can try to get it off with the arm still on the car, but it's going to be very difficult. And because there is a slot in there and there you go. To reinstall the arm, you're just going to slide this in like this. It's going to go in pretty easily, and then there's going to be a little bit of resistance. Rotate it just like that. Now I just take the wiper arm, just line this up just like that. You can fold it down, find the location where it was. Put the nut on. Take the 10 millimeter socket and a ratchet and just snug it up. Take the cover, slide the cover, lock it down.
