How to Replace Rear Window Switch 2008-12 Ford Escape

How to replace the rear window switch in a 2012 Ford Escapeon '08, '09, '10, '11, '12 Ford Escapes.

  1. step 1 :Removing the Window Switch Trim
    • Pry up the trim cover from the door pull with a pick
    • Remove the Phillips screw from the door pull
    • Pry the window switch trim up
    • Disconnect the connector
  2. step 2 :Removing the Window Switch
    • Press the tabs on either side of the switch with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Remove the switch from the trim
  3. step 3 :Installing the Window Switch
    • Press the switch into the trim piece
  4. step 4 :Installing the Window Switch Trim
    • Connect the wiring harness to the switch
    • Press the trim into place
    • Tighten the Phillips screw to the door pull
    • Press the trim cover to the door pull
