step 1 :Removing the Door Panel
- Pry off the trim piece inside the door handle with a flat blade screwdriver
- Pry off the trim piece inside the door pull with a flat blade screwdriver
- Remove the Phillips head screw inside the door handle
- Remove the Phillips head screw inside the door pull
- Pry out the door panel with a door panel clip tool or putty knife
- Lift the door panel up and off
- Disconnect the window switch wiring harness
- Disconnect the latch cables from the door handle
- Remove the Phillips screws from the door panel brackets
- Pull off the door panel brackets
- Remove the three Phillips screws from the speaker
- Pull out the speaker
- Disconnect the speaker wiring harness
- Carefully peel off the water shield

step 2 :Removing the Window Regulator
- Disconnect the window motor wiring harness
- Separate the window from the regulator with a flat blade screwdriver
- Raise the window by hand
- Hold the window in place with painter's tape
- Loosen the top two 10mm bolts from the regulator
- Remove the lower 10mm bolt from the regulator
- Pull the window regulator out through the door

step 3 :Installing the Regulator
- Remove the two top 10mm bolts from the old regulator
- Thread the top two 10mm bolts onto the new regulator
- Push the regulator into the door
- Hang the regulator by its bolts
- Tighten the top two 10mm bolts into the regulator
- Insert the bottom 10mm bolt into the regulator
- Lower the window onto the regulator
- Snap the window into the regulator
- Connect the window motor wiring harness

step 4 :Reinstalling the Door Panel
- Put the water shield into place
- Connect the speaker wiring lead
- Put the speaker into place
- Insert the three Phillips screws into the speaker
- Put the door panel bracket into place
- Insert the Phillips screws into the brackets
- Connect the window switch wiring harness
- Connect the latch cables to the door handle
- Lift the door panel into place
- Push in the door panel clips
- Insert the Phillips screw into the door handle
- Insert the Phillips screw into the door pull
- Push on the trim piece inside the door handle
- Push in the door pull trim piece

In this video, we're going to show you how to place a rear power window regulator on this Chrysler Pacifica. We'll show the driver's side. The passenger's side is the same procedure. Tools you'll need are a Phillips screwdriver, a door panel clip tool (or a household putty knife would work in its place), two 1/8th flat blade screwdrivers. Those are the smaller screwdrivers, a 10mm wrench or a socket and ratchet, painter's tape and a flashlight.
First carefully use your screwdriver and, if you go from the back, push it forward, pop it out, or you can come from the front and pop that out there. That comes off. Do the same thing right down here with screwdriver. Pull it out and then there's Phillips screws right in behind. Then just fast forward as I remove those two Phillips screws.
Start here in the front and we'll work your door panel clip tool right in behind, until you come to a clip. Pull it firmly and take off. There are three connections and the harness down here. Just press up on the tab and that disconnects. For this cable pull it out, then down. Then there's a little clip here that you undo and move that. This pulls right up out and you pull it up and slide it forward and bring it out.
Next you'll access the inside of the door. Remove a couple brackets: one at the top and one in the middle. They're just held on by Phillips screws. Remove your speaker. Again, it's held on by three Phillips screws. Unplug it and then carefully pull down your water shield, taking care not to rip it and pull it away from the vehicle.
You can see right here there's a cable and this is a cable actuated regulator. A lot of times this cable breaks. What you need to do is disconnect your lead for your motor. Just push out on this red safety tab. Push that that way and reach in, push down on this tab. Disconnect it.
Then you need to separate the window from the regulator. I've got my window in my down position. You can see my regulator's actually in good shape. I'm just doing this video to kind of show you, but right here is where the window attaches to the regulator. I'm sure Chrysler has some kind of special tool for this, but I'm taking a small screwdriver. Give a little perspective here. There's a small screwdriver. I'm going to slide it right in behind here. Now, you can see I've got that screwdriver in there. Then this screwdriver is positioned on the other side, prying this tab out. Now I have to with those screwdrivers, you've got to make sure the outside screwdriver is way down in. Then I'm actually pushing the screwdriver out towards the door and lifting up with this hand on the window, as well as prying out this hand. Then, I finally get the window to unlock.
Pull the window up. So I've pulled my window up, secured it with some painter's tape and now there are three bolts: one here, one here and then one down here. Just use a 10mm socket with a ratchet and extension to loosen this top one. Loosen this one and then we'll actually remove this one. We can now lift the regulator up and bring it out.
As you can see, my original one is in fine shape, so I'm going to reinstall it. A new one from 1A Auto will all mount the same. The only difference is they may have a pigtail here which is not a big deal. They still connect the same way. You'll want to put these two bolts into your new regulator and just feed it into the door. Bring it right up. Make sure you kick the bottom out and then get it right down in. It drops right down in. Start this bolt down here. I'll just speed it up here as I finish putting that bolt in. Remember to tighten up the three mounting bolts that hold the regulator to the door. Reconnect the harness and lock the safety tab on.
I'm just going to undo my tape up here. Let my window fall down, not fall down, but let my window come down. You can just kind of look right in here. It should go right into the regulator. It snaps in. You're regulator is all installed.
Now we're just going to put the water shield back on, the speaker and the door panel. I'll speed up here as I put the water shield back on. Make sure as you're putting it back on, you pull the wires and the cables through as well as just lining it up correctly. Make sure it doesn't block any of the holes where the clips and pins go into the door panel. Then once you do that reinstall the speaker. Remember to plug it in obviously and then reinstall the two door panel mounting brackets, the one in the middle and the one up in the top corner.
Reinstall the door panel. Bring this close, plug it in. On these cables, this one has kind of a T end. Put it in. Just kind of slide it back in. It's kind of hard to do. Then clip it in there. This one put it in. Bring the clip around. Pull the cable back and slide it in there. I'll bring my door panel up. Make sure the top of it goes right down in. Kind of peek around the back here and slide back some. My clips go in and connects to the front here. Make sure all the clips are going in. Fast forward again as I just reinstall those two Phillips screws: one behind the door handle and one behind the door pull Then put these little trim doors back in place. You have kind of a longer tab that goes into the wider slot. Push the longer tab in first.
