How to replace a broken, damaged or burnt out rear hatch light bulb to the 12 Chevy Traverse.
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
To change out these rear hatch light bulbs, take a small flat bladed screwdriver and at the very edge here, there's a tab that you'll just push in and just gently pry down. Pop down and let it slide her right out. You can unplug it by pushing the clip in. And for the lock, use the flat bladed screwdriver and push it in. And then pull it down.
You don't have to unplug it to change the bulb, but it might make it easier so you're not working over your head. But you can just pull it out and carefully if you need to, and you can pry it out with that small flat bladed screwdriver. Just gently push it out here. It's a little 194 peanut bulb.
And take it, and push it right back in. Both these lamps come out the same exact way. Plug it back in, push it up in, and snap it in place.
