Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and reinstall a rear door panel on a 2001 to 2004 Nissan Frontier. It's pretty much the same operation from the left side to the right side. You'll need a Phillips head screwdriver and a small flat blade screwdriver.

Locate the two Phillips heads screws in the door handle there. Remove those with your Phillips head screwdriver. I'll fast-forward as I do that. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, pry between the outer door panel trim and the door handle itself. Pop it free. Get your fingers in between the door panel and the door itself and pry it free of the plastic clips that are holding it on. Press in the tab that holds the connector to the switch.

Going back on with the door panel, you'll notice the plastic clips and the corresponding holes in the door. You want to have those lined up, but first install your connector to your switch back there. Hang the top of the door panel on the door, line up the clips, and then go ahead and give it a couple of taps to seat those. Go ahead and reinstall your door handle/armrest there, and I'll go ahead and fast-forward as I do that. Now reinstall the trim that goes around your door handle.
