Here are the items you'll need for this repair: bulb, flathead screwdriver, gloves
Move your rear courtesy lamp cover and replace the bulb. We'll pull down on the handle, and flip the coat hanger down. The end you push from to engage the light, which is toward the front of the vehicle, will pry out with a small flat blade screwdriver. We've put some painter's tape on it to prevent it from marring any plastic surfaces. Pop the lens out.
Don't stick any metal inside of here to pry that light out, because you'll cause it to short. You've just got to kind of work the bulb out of there, it's in there at kind of a weird tight angle. Install your new bulb into the tabs. To ensure it works, before we put our cover back on, just push down here. Everything works. We'll slide the hook then into the back first. Pop the front back into place.
