Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to-video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the radiator cooling fan on this 2006 Jeep Liberty. The items you'll need for this are a new radiator cooling fan from 1AAuto.com, a pair of pliers, and a 10mm socket and ratchet.
Your radiator cooling fan is on the back of your radiator and you'll want to start off by removing this harness. Use pliers to remove that red clip, and then push on the tab on the harness and pull it free. Now, on the back of your cooling fan, there are two 10mm bolts, one there and one over here. We'll just fast forward as Don removes both of those. Once those are removed you can just pull the radiator fan back, up, and out. Take your new radiator cooling fan, and you'll want to put these two tabs down into these two clips, and you just beat it down in. Once it's down into place you'll want to pull it towards you. We'll just fast forward as Don replaces those two 10mm bolts. Now, reconnect your harness and replace that red clip, and then you're all set.
