You can use a small clamping screwdriver and just carefully and firmly pry up in the back of this plate. Then pull up, slide it back, and this whole plate comes out. There are two parts to disconnect this: press one tab, pull; then press one tab, pull. I just locked the door. Keep it unlocked. Then this switch very easily comes out. There are little plastic tabs. Put your screwdriver in, work one side free. See the other side and the switch comes right out. My switch is actually working fine.

Dual switch from 1A Auto are exactly the same as the original. They'll go in just like the original ones and, obviously, cling it back in pretty easy. Just put it in place, reconnect these connectors. Put your panel back in, slide it forward and click it in place.
