Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we'll go over replacing the driver's master power window switch on this 2005 Nissan Maxima. It's pretty much the same as any '04 to '08. A lot of times these will get wet and get shorted out. The only tools you'll need are a flat blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver.
Start with a flat bladescrewdriver. You want to work it right in to the back of your switch panel and pry up firmly. The panel comes up, slide it back and out, and then there's two harnesses: one here, press the button on the back and unhook it; the other one, button on the back, press the button, unhook it.
Then your master window switch is just held in by three Phillips screws. Remove the screws and the switch comes out.
My switch is actually in good shape, so I'll just reinstall it. Just reverse the procedure. Put it in and make sure it's seated correctly. Start our screws in. Tighten them up nice and firm.
Take your panel, reconnect your harnesses. Put the front in first and press it down in.
