In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and replace the driver-side power window switch and really, it applies to all the power window switches in this Expedition, same as also a 97-03 F150. All you need is a flat-blade screwdriver and a little confidence. I'm replacing this power window switch or the lock switch. It's pretty easy. Just use a screwdriver and gently pry up, and I'm actually also pushing up with my thumb. Pry up and push up. Then, on the back side, there are just little thumb tabs here that you push down and then work the connectors out of the switch; same thing on here, then this last one here.
Now your switch is out. If you want to replace any of these switches from the bezel - You can see on the switches, there are basically just little teeth that clip into the bezel; same thing on this lock switch. I find that the easiest is to do one end at a time. I'm going to pry the bezel out and provide some up force with my thumb on the switch; then the other side, same thing. Now I'm going to do the back side here. There's the power lock switch out. Same thing for this door lock switch. Just pry up a little bit there and it's out. Obviously, back in, the reverse. Put them in. Obviously, the locking switch goes in the back. Now everything is keyed so you really can't put things in incorrectly. Just plug everything back in. Give everything a quick test before you put it all back; windows, the locks. Push it down.
