Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we show you how to remove and reinstall the front master power window switch on this 2000 Buick LeSabre. It's a pretty easy operation. The only tool you'll need is a flat blade screwdriver.
If the power windows in your vehicle are acting up, a lot of times what happens is the lock mechanisms in these switches get messed up. What will happen is the windows will work from this switch, but not the other switches. Obviously, you want to make sure that your lock button hasn't been pressed. Usually, if the windows work from this switch, but not the other switches, it's because this lock mechanism has shorted out.
Getting this out of here is pretty easy. Pry up nice and gentle on the front. Get it up and out, slide it forward and then reach right underneath to the little tab. Press it with your thumb, disconnect. My original's working fine, but your new one you just plug it in. Put it down and in, and slide the back in first, and then press the front down in.
