Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we'll show you how to replace the drivers, or the master power window switch on this 2003 GMC Sonoma. It's the same as pretty much any of the four-door Sonomas from this era. The only tools you'll need are a couple of flat blade screwdrivers.

Start by grabbing the front of your switch plate. Push back and pull up. It should come out. You want to use a screwdriver. On this one there's a tab right here you push, this gray one. Put your screwdriver right down in here and pry out. Here there's a tab, then here there's a tab. For this one here, it's not unheard of to have to use two screwdrivers. Put this one down in so that the tab that locks it is interfered with by the screwdriver. I use another one to pry up. Get the connector moving.

The switch is pretty easy to get out. You want to go down between the gray and the black plastic and pry out while you're pulling on the switch. Same thing back here, between the switch and the gray plastic bezel. Get your screwdriver in and it comes right out.

New switch from 1A Auto. Exactly the same, so they go in there and it clips right in. Just going to have to put it in, push forward a little bit, then get the back down in. Now I can plug everything back in.

Again, the back kind of locks in first. Then the front goes down in.
