Brought to you by 1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts, and the best service on the internet. Hi, I'm Mike Green, I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing and maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20 plus years' experience, restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this, to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly, that's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.

I'm going to show you how to replace the driver's side master window switch on this 2000 Chevy Blazer, same as any of the Blazers and the Jimmy's. The only tools you'll need are a couple of flat blade screwdrivers. I'm just going to lift up on the front, on the pale here, and then pull it out like that. Then on the backside, you've got two connectors to release. There's this one, this tab right here, you want to put a screwdriver in there and pry it that way and push that tab back and then pull that one out. This one is usually more difficult. Probably use two screwdrivers, put one in here and pry that way, because this tab locks it, and then use your other screwdriver to pry up at this point right here. So this one, put the screwdriver in, I'm kind of pushing on it a little bit with my hand and then you've got to grab on really tight, really pull. This connector, it's difficult to get out sometimes. It comes up and out. Then on this one like I said, you want to pry there.

Now you can see in there how that grey tab is unlocked, if I press it back down in, you'll see it lock in. So that's when you want to pry that out. So again, pry that and lift up with this one, so that you have it unlocked, then grab hold of this connector, and rock it back and forth. I'll show you on my new switch, you can see the switch is just held in by two tabs at the ends. So, what you want to do is attach it down in here. So I'm going to insert this screwdriver from this side and I'm putting the pressure where it's reinforced here, so I'm going to put this screwdriver in right there, the screwdriver's probably going to go flying, and pull the switch. The switch comes up and out. Then the new switch from 1A Auto, see all the same graphics, it makes it all nice and fresh. I'm just going to install the exact same way. I'm going to put the front down in first, actually put the rear down in first, I've pushed it in, then reconnect. Back in.
