To remove this trim panel use a T30 Torx bit. We'll remove this screw right here first. Now you'll just want to release the top or the bottom of the top. On this side, you can pull down right next to the lift support, and on this side pull the trim out and down. Open up the glass, and there are two clips here. Push the center in, and then pull them out. With a small screwdriver, push the center in, and then it should pry right out. Then put your glass back down, and open up your rear gate.

On each side, pull down, and there's a series of clips around the side. Repeat this same thing for the other side. Pull down, release the clips, and then come back into here. There are two clips that go in this way. So you grab hold of this and pull back, grab and pull back, and then you kind of want to make sure all these clips are out. Then there's clips further in that you can release by reaching in. Bring your tailgate down some, open your window up, and push the trim up and off. Bring it down, and you still have a connection here for your switch. Tab here. Have your screwdriver handy, pull the tab out, and the trim comes down. The switch just squeeze on the tabs and push it through. It's easier to put that back in after you've put the trim back on.

Reinstall. My window is still loose here, so I'll put it up into place underneath here on one side. Make sure I get it underneath correctly. Next thing is to make sure that this harness comes through this hole. Then pull it down, and basically look up in there and there are larger. If you look right here, you'll see larger lineup pins. Pull those down into place, and get the metal clips—they're right in here, in first. Then you can lock everything else into place. Pull these down and make sure those clips go into place. Then we can put these back in, force them to line up, and lock those into place. Then the switch goes up and in. This T30 Torx screw goes up into place, and then tighten it up. Then you can go down.

Open your window back up. Oh we've got a little bit off here. Put these in, and then they just lock flush. If you should push one of the pins all the way out, just put it in so it's sticking up about a quarter of an inch. Goes back in place, and then locks in.
