Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video we're going to show you how to replace a mirror switch on this 2012 Chevy Traverse. The only tools you're going to need are a flat blade screwdriver and a 90-degree pick tool.
Using your 90-degree pick tool, stick it into the slot underneath the panel in your pull handle and it will pull right out. Then, using a flat blade screwdriver, push up on the tab on your switch panel and pry the switch panel up. Using a flat blade screwdriver, pry up the white clip on this harness and then push the tab and pull the harness free, and push the tab on the next two harnesses and pull them free as well. Using a flat blade screwdriver, pry out the tabs on either side of your mirror switch. Then the switch will pull right out.
Push your new mirror switch into place and then reconnect your harnesses and replace that white clip on the last harness. Then push your switch panel back down into place and replace your panel behind the door pull handle. You're all set.
