How to Replace PCV Valve 2011-12 Ford Escape

How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a failing, worn out, or defective PCV valve on 11 or 12 Ford Escape

step 1 :Removing the PCV Valve
- Loosen the hose clamp and loosen the EGR valve from the intake manifold
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the EGR Valve
- Twist the valve counterclockwise
- Clamp the lower part of the hose with hose clamp pliers
- Remove the PCV valve

step 2 :Installing the PCV Valve
- Install the PCV valve to the hose while clamping the hose clamp
- Place engine oil around the seal on the PCV valve
- Insert the PCV valve into the engine
- Connect the wiring harness
- Connect the hose to the intake manifold and tighten the hose clamp
