Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we show you how to service the parking light bulbs as well as replacing the entire assembly on this 2012 Chevy Traverse. We show you on the passenger side, but the driver side is a similar procedure. The items you'll need for this are a flat blade screwdriver, a pair of pliers, a 7mm and 10mm socket and a ratchet, and a T20 Torx bit.

There are two T20 screws right in the wheel well, one there and one further down there, as well as two more T20 screws underneath. Remove all four of those. Now, you access the parking light through this panel right here. Just pull it down, pull it aside, and your parking light is right there.

To make it easier to show you, we're going to show you with the bumper cover off, but to service the bulbs, you just twist the socket out, pull the bulb right out, push the new bulb in, and twist the socket back into place. It's the same for this bulb as well. Push the new one in and just twist the socket back into place.

Now, to remove the entire assembly, you want to remove these four 7mm bolts. We'll just fast forward as Don does this, and once you remove all those, you just push the tab on the harness to disconnect it and pull the light down through that panel.

Then, you feed your new one up into place and replace those four 7mm bolts and then you reconnect that harness, and also replace the T20s underneath the bumper as well is that 7mm bolt in the wheel well and the 10mm bolt underneath the bumper. Then, replace those T20s in the wheel well.
