Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the glass on your side mirror. If you don't want to replace the whole mirror you can buy just the glass panel from 1AAuto.com. The only tool that you're going to need for this procedure is a flat blade screwdriver.
What you want to do is push in your mirror and then reach back in here with a flat blade screwdriver. We broke our mirror so we can show you what you're going to need to do. You want to use a flat blade screwdriver and tuck it into that side and just pry up on these tabs and then on this tab back here. Then you should have a little bit more room and you can pry off these wires. Once you do that it should pull free.
On the left is the old side mirror glass. On the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they have all the same mounting points and they're going to fit exactly the same. Just take the glass, reconnect those wires, and push it back into your side mirror. Once it's clipped on everywhere and it doesn't sound like it has anywhere else to clip you're all set.
