In this video, we show you how to replace the front master power window switch on this 2006 Nissan Sentra. It's a pretty easy procedure. You'll just need a Phillips screwdriver.
You just take the panel and lift up. You have to kind of get your fingers underneath and underneath back in here and lift up firmly. Okay, it comes right out. Then this lift up firmly as well. Then right back here is a little tab on your harness, push that in and disconnect the switch harness.
Now you just need a Philips screwdriver, and there are three screws that hold the switch to the trim panel. Remove the three screws and the switch comes right out.
To reinstall, change the switch right down in. A lot of the times what happens with these is you accidently leave your door open and it rains. Rain falls down and comes right into the switch and shorts it out.
When you reinstall these screws, just be careful not to tighten them up too tight because you could strip the plastic threads in the turn keys.
Reconnect your power window switch. Put the front down in first, then put the back into place. Put this right into place and press down.
