step 1 :Removing the Side Marker Light
- Pull back the hood shroud
- Remove the 10mm bolt from the headlight
- Pull the headlight out
- Twist the bulb socket out of the light

step 2 :Installing the Side Marker Light
- Service the bulb, if necessary
- Twist the bulb socket into the light
- Push the light into place using the locating tab
- Insert the 10mm bolt into the light
- Push on the hood shroud

In this video, we'll be showing you how to replace the side marker on this 1992 Lumina, same for any Lumina of this era. It's pretty easy, and only requires a 10mm wrench.
If you need to change the side marker or blinker on your Lumina, set it up right here. Basically what you got is you pull this panel right up and over. There's a little 10mm bolt right here. You could use a 10mm wrench. I'm just going to use a little help of a quarter inch drive air ratchet here. The light pulls out and as you can see here, you just twist this small piece here and that comes out.
Obviously, if you're looking to service the bulb, you can do that right now. Here's a new light from 1A Auto. Here's the old. You can see how much brighter the new one is.You can see the new light from 1A has the correct mounting tab on it. It has this tab back here and the same terminal for the bulb and everything. To reinstall, take your light, push in and twist. There's a little tab right here, you want to make sure that goes into this slot here. We could start our screw in here and get our air ratchet or wrench. I do the final tightening with the wrench and it's good. Put this panel back in.
