How to Replace License Plate Bulb 2009-14 Ford F-150

How to replace the license plate bulb on 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 Ford F150

  1. step 1 :Removing the License Plate Bulb Lens
    • From behind the bumper, press on the lens tabs with a flat blade screwdriver
    • Pop out the lens from the bumper
    • Disconnect the wiring harness
  2. step 2 :Removing the License Plate Bulb
    • Turn the socket counterclockwise
    • Pull the 194 bulb straight off of the socket
  3. step 3 :Installing the License Plate Bulb
    • Press the 194 bulb straight on to the socket
    • Turn the socket clockwise
  4. step 4 :Installing the License Plate Bulb Lens
    • Connect the wiring harness
    • Press the lens into the bumper

Tools needed

  • Gloves

    Flat Blade Screwdriver
