In this video we're going to show you how to remove and replace the license plate bulbs in our 1996 GMC Sierra K1500.

Here are the items you'll need for this repair: replacement bulbs, and gloves.
Underneath the bumper, on either side of the license plate bracket, we have our license plate light sockets. Quarter turn counterclockwise and they pop out. This bulb pops out of the socket.
New one pops right in. We reinstall our bulb socket into the back of our license plate light cover and a quarter turn clockwise locks it into place.
