In this video, we are going to show you inside door handle replacement. This is a 2008 Dodge Ram, but it's the same process for 2002 to 2008. You are going to need new door handle or handles from 1AAuto.com and a 10-millimeter socket with a ratchet and extension.
Open up the door and there is a 10 millimeter bolt that holds the handle on. As you remove the bolt, you can just pull on the handle. Bring the bolt and the handle out at the same time.
Here's the original handle and the handle from 1A Auto. Exactly the same, we're just going to take the bolt from the old handle, and put it in the new one. We sell these in black, tan, as well as gray. Make sure your bolt is pretty well threaded in there.
You actually want a little bit sticking out the back side. Just kind of hook it in there and apply pressure and turn it clockwise. Hold it in place and tighten it up.
