How to repair, install, fix, change or replace broken, weak or sagging hood support struts on 04 Nissan Titan or Armada.

step 1 :Removing the Hood Support
- Have an assistant hold the hood up
- Pry out the clips on either end of the hood support with a flat blade screwdriver
- Pull the lifts off their studs

step 2 :Installing the Hood Support
- Snap the supports in place
- Replace the hood support clips

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a hood support on this 2004 Nissan Titan. We show you on the passenger side but the driver side is the same procedure. The tools you'll need for this is a flat blade screwdriver or a pick, and someone or something to safely secure the hood up while you're doing this procedure.
At either end of the hood support you'll see these clips. All you have to do is pry them out and then pull the support off the stud. Just pry out and pull. While you're doing this have someone hold the hood. It will pop free. Do the same thing down here.
Take your new hood support and just push it onto those studs. You're all set.
