In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a hood support on this 2010 Volvo XC60. We show you on the driver side, but the passenger side is the same procedure. The only tool you'll need for this is a flat blade screwdriver, and you're going to want someone, or something, to safely secure the hood while you're doing this procedure.

Your hood support is right here, and it's held in with a clip at both the top and the bottom that you need to pry out on while pulling out on the support. Make sure someone or something is supporting your hood. Pry out on the clip, and pull the hood support out, and do the same thing on the other side.

Then take your new hood support strut and make sure the clips are in place. It just snaps right back on to the post.
