Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the bulbs, as well as replace the entire assembly, of your third brake light on this 2005 Ford F150. The only tool you'll need for this is a Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the two Phillips screws at the top of the third brake light, pull the third brake light free, and lean it forward and just twist each of these sockets out. You just want to turn them counterclockwise. Once you've done that, just pull this harness from the third brake light and the assembly pulls free.

If you just want to replace a bulb, you just pull them out, and just push your new ones into place.

Take your third brake light, twist the sockets in, clockwise, to lock them in. Then push those harness clips back in, put the third brake light back into place, and then tighten up those two Phillips screws. Then you're all set.
