You want to take your front and rear crossbows and insert a corner. Tighten up the Phillips screw so they're held in place and repeat. Slide it down and do the same thing on the other end. Then bring your end bows over and put them together, and tighten up the little hand knobs to hold it in place. Same thing in the back, and then just repeat it for all four corners.
Now, position the frame as best you can. Mostly pay attention to the front. Make sure it's about a half an inch from the body of the truck. Then, there are six clamps. You want to position them somewhat equidistance. Do not put them where the bows go. Put the clamp on, slide it up and in, and then start the bolt. Just get these hand-tight for right now. Once we get them hand-tight, then we'll do some final positioning of the frame. Just make sure the front's where you want it. I kind of stick my finger in there an inch or two, and then do the same thing on this side. Then, just look. I've got one, two ribs here, and I have two ribs showing on the other side. Once you have it lined up pretty much where you want it, then tighten these clamps right up.
Take your bows and they go into the side. Slide it forward and then bring it back into place. Same thing, into the side, go back, then slide forward. Check them, make sure they're in and they should be up so they're pretty much flush with the frame. Bring your cover on, unclasp it, and then, let's see, the side with the straps goes to the front. I'll be a little crude here at first. Get the first couple started. Do that one on the side and just push it in. Snap the front on first. You can see the snaps, and push them into place.
Now we can roll. Lay the cover out and pull the back. You basically just take it and roll the snaps down and put them on. Once you have the ends, then you can roll right down the sides. The last side is usually the most difficult. Give it a good tug and roll the snap down and in place. We're all set.
