Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the grille on this 2005 Ford Focus. It's the same part and process on these Focuses from 2005 to 2007. The items you'll need for this are a new grille from 1AAuto.com, a Philips screwdriver, a flat blade screw driver, and a 10mm socket and ratchet.
We have to start off by removing the shroud. It's held in with three Phillips clips. To remove these, just twist out the center and they pull up. We'll just fast forward as Don does these. Once those are removed, the shroud will pull up and off. Next, remove these two 10mm bolts. We'll fast forward again, as Don removes these. Now that the bolts are removed, lift the tabs on the top, and then slide the grille forward and out.
Now, on the back of your grille, use your flat blade screwdriver and just push the badge. Once it's pushed out enough for you to get your fingers under it, just pull it free.
In the back is the old grille, up front is the new one from 1AAuto. You can see they're identical, and they will mount exactly the same. Take your badge and push it onto your new grille.
Now, feed your grille back into place. You slide it back. Then replace those two 10mm bolts. Then just replace your shroud. With the centers back inside the clips, push them down into place, and then push the center down to lock it. Then you're all set.
