Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video we'll be showing you how to replace the grille on this '95 Accord, same as any '94 to '97. The only thing you'll need is an 8mm socket and driver or ratchet and extension.
Remove the front grille by taking off five 8mm bolts, or actually also a 5/16 inch standard socket works. Here's: one, two, three, four, and on this car, this one's broken but you would want to remove a fifth one that's right down in here. You can see I'm looking from the side right over the headlight and I'm going to zoom right down in on the grille here. Your next step is: you need to get a screwdriver right down in here. There's a little tab that you have to press down on and then slide the grille forward. You can see I already got the other side. See here's the little tab. You basically need to press down on that with your screwdriver and then it releases the grille. You can see the grille comes right off.
Here's my original grille. On top here's my new grille from 1A Auto. You do have to swap your Honda emblem over, which basically means you pry out these little speed clips. You pry them off and then you pull the emblem off and put it onto your new grille. The new grille is going to bolt on there. It's going to go on just like the old one did. You've got to line up these here with these tabs and then it snaps in at first. Then just like the original one you put the five bolts back in and we'll be all set.
