Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, I'm going to show how to replace the lower front grille on this 2003 Ford Focus. This grille often gets wiped out by rocks or running onto a curb or something like that. The only tool you'll need is a 13 millimeter wrench, or a deep socket and ratchet would work as well.

You're going to want to get your fog lights out. Reach in behind, there's a little lever to flip here, okay, and then the light should come out like that. Do the same thing over here. Reach in behind and feel, you'll see a little lever. Flip that lever and pull the fog light out. Now on each one there's a little clip underneath. Pull it with your thumb and disconnect it bodily. Do the same thing over here.

From the back side, where you just took each fog light out, now you can see here, on the back of the fog light connector there is a speed nut, 13 millimeter. You remove this on each side. Now, there are three clips. I'm going to use a small screwdriver, and prying up on the top here, and then pulling back, I'll take these clips off.

Now your grille should come back and off, as well as, on the top, it kind of unclips. So, pull, this couple of tabs. Unclip here, and it comes out. You can see on this car, these little things are actually broken. That just happens actually over time with wear and tear.

Reinstalling, what should happen is if your cover's in good shape, put it up in, guide the pins right back into the holes. I put each side in, clip it in, and then this I'll just kind of clip in, but since my bumper cover is in a little bit of rough shape, I'll put it in, push it up, and then pull my grille back to try and get it into place.

Then from the back side, I'll do my best to kind of get the grille underneath here, and then put some clips on to hold it in place. Now reinstall these speed nuts. I'll put them on, and as you're tightening them, hold the grille and push the nut on as you tighten it up. Repeat for the other side.

Now push your fog light harnesses back through and reconnect. What you want to do is take this clip and make sure it's out like this. Push the clip through first. Let me try that again. Make sure you put those through, then push the light in, wrap the clip around, and lock it on. I'm just going to check back here and make sure my parts are on nice and tight. Again, pushing the clip through, put it all in, and when the light's back in, reach underneath and plug in the harness.
