How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a broken, damaged, or failing windshield wiper bladeon 12 Chevy Equinox
Hi. I'm Mike from 1AAuto. We've been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
Hi guys, it's Sue from 1A Auto. Today we're working on this 2012 Chevy Equinox. We have multiple listings for parts for this vehicle. Why don't you go to the web page and check out what we have for your car at 1AAuto.com.
So now we're going to change the wiper blades. This is the contour style on this car. We have the little button that you're going to push in with your thumb, grab it firmly, and just shake it back and forth. Nice. Good safety mechanism: always put the arm down with no blade on it. Heaven forbid that would snap down and crack your shield. Make sure you get the proper style and size and that it comes with these clips.
To reinstall simply re-guide and it snaps right down. So bring it down slowly and snap it in. For the passenger side blade it's the same as the driver's. Push the pin, guide it out, and reverse to install.

See why replacing your cloudy headlights with new ones is always better than refinishing them Why should you replace your headlights and not clean or refinish them? Three reasons: It's a simple fix, it increases visibility, and it enhances the overall look of your vehicle. Headlights are made from a polycarbonate plastic that can be damaged by UV rays from the sun or suffer pitting caused by road debris light salt and rocks. If you look closely at an old set of headlights, you'll see that the lens is full of micro-cracks. This is called crazing. This crazing, along with pinning, will turn your headlights from crystal clear to hazy yellow and it cuts the output in half, making it very difficult to see at night. It also makes your car look old and dated. With parts from 1AAuto.com and our how-to videos, you can make your vehicle look new and stay safe on the road.
