Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!

Under shields on our car, or splash shields as some people like to call them, these are really beat up and trashed. We've got some brands new ones from 1AAuto.com. They match exactly the contour and the shape of both sides. Just going to take these old ones off and put these new ones on.

To replace these, you're going to go along and find all of your self-tapping bolts. These are 10 millimeter on the front of the car here. Over here. Over here. Sometimes there are push clips. There's one back here, one in the middle to hold them together, and another one back here. So you want to pop those out. Use our prying tool. Just kind of pop up the middle. It helps unlock them, and you can pull them right out. The middle comes out. That's OK. You can put it back together.

Take a 10 millimeter socket, or you could use a Phillips head 10 millimeter socket. It's probably easier. And just start removing these. This shield's probably going to slide right out and fall, because it's only got these four bolts holding it on. Just going to grab onto it.

We'll take our new one, just slide it up into place. It kind of slides inside the bumper. Get one of our self-tapping screws caught. If it's easier, you can get one bolt caught, and then push the shield up into place.

Find the opening for the push clip. Push it into place. It helps hold it while you install the rest of the self-tapping screws. Make sure you thread these back through the other shield that they may go through. Let's remove all the bolts from this one. Take our other side, slide it up into the bumper, lined up. Install this bolt. You want to get this push clip lined up here and get it in place. That way, it stays while I bolt it up. You can also install the center push clip. So if your splash shields are hanging down, or damaged, or missing, you can get brand new ones from 1AAuto.com. The splash shields are looking great.
