Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and reinstall the front grille on this '98 Toyota Avalon. It's a pretty easy procedure. The only thing you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver.
To remove the grille, you can see mine is in good shape, but if you wanted to replace it, there's two Phillips screws on each side, and then there's a little clip here. Push the center down, and then you can pull your grill right up and off.
Like I said, mine is in good shape, so here's reinstallation. You may have to switch this clip onto your new grille. It just slides off, and it slides back on. Put the grille down in. Make sure there are three tabs: one on each side, then the one in the middle. Make sure they're in place. For this, you just push the center up to reset it, put it in and push it down flush to lock it, and put your two screws back on.
