How To Replace Front Grille 2004-06 Nissan Sentra

In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and reinstall the front grille on this 2006 Nissan Sentra. That's pretty easy procedure. The only tool you'll need is a flat blade screwdriver.

To remove your grille or whatever might be left of your grille, there's two little clips. You need a flat blade screwdriver and you pry up on the middle of that clip and then pull it right up and out, same thing on this side. Take the clip. Pry up on the middle, then pull the clip right out.

If you look in behind the grille, you'll see there are little clips right here. What you want to do is, as you're pulling out, you want to lift up on those. I'm going to actually just grab the grille right here and pull out some, and then reach in here and lift up on that clip, and over here on the side, there's another clip. See that starts coming out? Then I'm going to pull firmly on the top, there's a couple of clips on the top to release, and I'm going to do the same thing over here, reach in, pull out firmly, lift up on the clips, and then the whole thing comes right off. You can see my grille's in good shape.

A new grille from 1A Auto is going to go right in. Make sure all your clips are in place. There are little metal clips here. Make sure everything's in place. Just get it in place correctly, make sure the holes are going to line up, and you can push it back into place.

These can be a little finicky. You only want to pull them out a certain amount so that these teeth will squeeze right together. If you pull them out too much, they won't squeeze together. Obviously, if you have them pushed in, they won't squeeze together, so you just want to have it pulled out right to the middle there so it will squeeze together and put it down and in and lock this here, down and in and lock the center.
