In this video we're going to replace the fog light on this 2004 Chevy Trailblazer, same as any '02 to '05. The only tool you'll need is a 10mm wrench or a socket with a ratchet.

For a fog light for one of these vehicles, you're going to want to come up underneath. I've got the car on a lift, but that's not necessary at all. You can see I have easy access to it. If all you're looking to do is change your bulb, you may want a screwdriver, but you can kind of reach in there with your finger and pull your lead off, and your bulb actually just twists counterclockwise here. Actually, quite honestly, it's easier with your leads still plugged in. Pull the bulb out. My bulb is fine; so I'm just going to show you. You remove the bulb and then when you go on to put it back together, I'd put the bulb back in. You don't want to touch the bulb; it's halogen. Oils from your hand could cause it to burn out quicker. Twist the bulb in and plug it back in.

If you're looking to do the whole fog light, you just need a 10mm socket with a ratchet. There are three 10mm bolts. We'll fast forward here as we just remove those three nuts. It pulls right out the front.

This is the original light and often these get wiped out by rocks and stuff. See the new light from 1A Auto is nice and clear. They'll bolt in the same way. We'll hit fast forward again as we put the three nuts on by hand and then tighten them up with a 10mm wrench. You don't have to make them extremely tight, but they need to be nice and firm. Plug the cord back in, and there's the new light installed. Quite a bit brighter than the old milky lights.
