How to Replace Engine Air Filter 2011-15 Toyota Prius

Changing the air filter is really simple. It's got two clips, and then it snaps into two tabs here on the back of the air box. Just going to flip the clips off, lift this up, can actually pull it right out. Grab the air filter out of there. Take it right out.

Here we have the original air filter and the brand new one from 1AAuto.com. See it is the exact same filter, exact same size, has the rubber foam around it. This will fit in the vehicle and work perfectly.

When you're reinstalling the filter, just notice that it does have an arrow that points up, so it's going to sit in the air box just like this. Going to lift that back up, place it right in here, and then capture these two tabs that are in the back just like that. Push this down. Snap the clips on. The air filter's replaced.
