In this video, we show you how to remove and install the air filter on this 2001 Ford Taurus. You don't need any tools to perform this.

We're looking here at the driver's side. Here's the battery and here's your air box. There are two clips, one there and one on the side. You flip them up and move them out of the way. Then, you push your air box back and pull it up. You can move it out of the way enough. Your air filter pulls right out. This air filter probably needs to be replaced. Since I'm just showing you how to put it in and out, we're going to put it right back in, but you want to inspect it look between the folds. Then, put it back down in place. There's some slots at the bottom where the box goes down into. Make sure it's all lined up correctly. Then, push it against and reconnect those clips.
