- Remove the two 8mm bolts from the air box
- Lift up the air box
- Remove the air filter

step 2 :Installing the Air Filter
- Insert the air filter into place
- Close the air box
- Tighten the two 8mm bolts

In this video we show you how to service the air filter on this Chrysler Pacifica. Pretty easy process, well, easy once you know how to do it. You'll just need an 8mm socket with a ratchet and extension.
Your air filter is on this side. Pretty clearly labeled here: air filter. There are two 8mm bolts: one down here and one right over here. Using an 8mm socket with a ratchet and extension, I'll speed up here as I loosen or remove those two bolts. Actually, you don't remove them, you just make sure that they're loosened up to the point where you can easily pull that, the large housing, you can pull it up and off and away from the lower part of the housing.
Once you get those out, what you want to do is lift up on this side of the box and then push it that way. Lift this right up and pull your air filter out.
Obviously, the new air filter goes right in. Put it down in. Make sure it's down correctly, and then you'll have to kind of grab this and lift it up. Push it that way. There are two or three tabs over here. Get it up, over, get these tabs down and in and push everything back in. Tighten these bolts back up.
We'll fast-forward as we tighten those back up. Just push them down in and turn them. Get them nice and snug. You don't want to over-tighten them.
