Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the air filter on this 2003 Nissan Altima with the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine.
Here's your intake box. You just want to push down these two tabs right here. Then the air intake box lifts right up. Here's your air filter. Just pull it right out. Now you want to just vacuum out your air intake box.
Okay, so in the forefront is obviously the air filter that we pulled out of the car. Please don't ever let the air filter in your car get this bad. It appears that this is the original air filter on an 11 year old car. It was never replaced. This will just choke your engine and your fuel mileage will suffer. Check your air filter. Replace it, as you can see, it's a pretty easy process. Once you have your new filter just put it in place.
There are tabs on the other side of the air box. You see there are two tabs down there. They go into little slots. Push them in, then push the air box down and re-secure those clips. You're all set.
