Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to remove and reinstall the driver's power window switch. This is a 2003 Honda Civic, and it's similar for many Civics in this generation. The only tools you'll need is a flat blade screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver.
In your door pull, there's a small trap door. Flat blade screwdriver, pry it up, and underneath you'll see a Phillips head screw. Flat blade screwdriver, pry up on the front, and then there's a tab in the back so you just pull it forward. On the backside there's a connector. Just press this little button here and disconnect it. On the backside, three Phillips screws hold it in. Once the screws are out, the switch comes right out.
Put your new switch back in the bezel, install the screws. I like to put them in, just make sure they're going in correctly so you don't cross-thread or strip the plastic. Reconnect the harness, make sure it clicks. Just tap those in first, tap down, and you can just kind of drop your screw down in, tighten up.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
