T20 Driver
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
In this video, we are removing and replacing the driver's side outside door lock cylinder. If you need any parts for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1aauto.com.
Take your key, go underneath, and pull off this cover. Take a flat blade tool. Get underneath this rubber grommet. And then, there's a little sticker right here, and pull the sticker off. With a T20, I'm going to take this Torx screw out. There's a screw in here that you don't want to pull it out all the way. We just want to loosen it. I'm going to take our key, put this in here, and turn it to the right. As I'm pulling on it, loosen up the bolt. There we go, and that comes out.
We're going to reinstall this. We had it twisted slightly when we pulled it out, so we just want to turn it a little bit. Pull this door handle out. Before I tighten it up, over here, I'm just going to make sure it works and it does. Tighten this, T20. That will lock the door lock in place. Just screwing it up. Install this T20. Just snug it down and put our sticker back in the hole and our rubber grommet. Take our cover, pull the door handle out, slide it in the top. Snap it in.
