Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace a door jamb switch on this 2004 Nissan Titan. We show you on the driver's side door but the passenger side door and on the crew cabs both rear doors is the same procedure. The only tools that you're going to need for this are a Phillips screwdriver and a flat blade screwdriver.
The door jamb switch is located right here in the door jam. You just want to remove that Phillips screw that holds it into place. Then pull the door jamb switch out. Push the tab on this harness and disconnect it.
Now, take the new door jamb switch, reconnect the harness and push the switch back into place. Then just replace and tighten up that Phillips screw. Once it's tightened up, you're all set.
